Spring Green

Did you get any crafting time today?  I made this card today.  I just love spring green.  Over at Our Daily Bread they have an inspiration challenge going on.  One of the pictures is of a cross with green and white flowers around it.  It is so beautiful so I used that for my inspiration for this card.  The scripture is from a set called He It Risen!  This is my Father-in-law's favorite verse so they will be receiving this card for Easter.

A "glitter" challenge at 2 Cute Ink

For this challenge at 2 Cute Ink we want to see glitter.  I am not a glitter girl.  It is too much of a mess for me so I choose to purchase these circles and they are covered with glitter. =)  I used my H2O Twinkling paints on the back behind the fish, trying to make a water look.   It's kinda hard to see in the picture but believe me I have glitter on my face to prove it. Ice Cream Truck Treats

Last summer was the first year Miss Madi came to love the ice cream truck. Every Saturday he would drive down our street.  We would wait out on the front porch just waiting to hear the music down the street.  She could hear it from blocks away.  Every Saturday she would pick something different.  This day it was a Sponge Bob treat.  Papa always got a giant bomb pop and I would get a ice cream sandwich.  Great memories.  She just asked about the ice cream truck the other day.  She is excited for summer again.
