Triangle Treat Boxes

Are you getting ready for fall at all?  Well, before we know it halloween will be here.  I give out special treats to kids I know around the neighborhood and my kids and grandkids so I gotta get started on those.  This is a triangle little box.  It was easy to make and doesn't take much paper at all.  The die's and stamps are from My Craft Spot.  I love how they fit so perfectly together.  The stamps are from a set called Stamping All Around Fall.  The dies are part of the Tiny Doilies 2 set.  I used velcro to hold the boxes closed.  The link to the boxes are here.
Below are how they look open.  I have 4 kisses inside them.  Although I could stuff more candy in them.  I was surprised how much space is there.

You can pick all the Pirate Animals up at her Etsy store.  I felt lucky to find this old piece of paper that had these perfect colors on it.  There are blue circles but they are hard to see because the blue is so light.  But, any blue will do.  I hope you come on over and join in the fun!!  I can't wait to see what you make!

Guest Designer at My Craft Spot - WooHoo!

WooHoo - exciting news today!  I was so shocked but excited to receive a message from Kimberly at My Craft Spot.  She asked me to be a guest designer.  How fun!!  I started immediately thinking of school starting.  My boys are grown up but I still remember all the excitement in our home at that time of the year.  I do have to say, there was more excitement the younger they were. =)  So in that line of thinking it came to, start of the year teacher gifts.  I went out on the web in search of ideas.  Something nice to give a teacher to start off the year right.  I found this pencil idea and fell in love with it for so many reasons.

First of all, it is full of chocolate.  Every teacher will need a little chocolate to start the year off right.  Also, it is a gift they can enjoy for a while and then it will be gone.  The pencil was only the start of the project.  I used the "Tiny Doilies 2" die set.  As you can see it is the perfect size for a tag on the pencil.  Then I used the "Stamping All Around Fall" stamp set.  The circle stamps fit perfectly inside the "Tiny Doilies 2" dies.  The books, apple letters, those stamps are separate from the circle so I changed them up and stamped them in the matching paper for the tag.  I just fell in love with these cuties.  The only problem is...making sure they get to the teachers.  =)  Happy crafting and again I thank Kimberly for the opportunity!

Hehe!  Are you looking at this image and wondering what in the world??  Well, I did when I first saw it.  This is a 1961 Rampside Corvair.  I have to say I have never seen one of these in person.  But, this goofy truck made me smile.  Then the sentiment - you know how I am with puns - Yep this one is perfect!!  This goofy looking pickup is from Doodle Pantry and is part of a set called Classic Clunkers 2.  The set comes with 3 different vehicles, they also come colored, 8 sentiments, and 9 digital papers.  I am doubting that the Corvair came in this bright of a color but I don't use orange very often so that was my choice for tonight.  Just another thing to make me smile.
