Get Well Gift

Hi All! Are you having a wonderful weekend? The weather hasn't been the best but it has been a wonderful weekend. I took advantage to try a new project. This is called a Mini Sanitizer Purse. I am sending you to the website I first saw this on but I changed the dimensions because it depends on what size your sanitizer is. The stamp set I used is called Get Well Critters from Clear Dollar Stamps. I purchased the sanitizer from the Dollar Tree and they were three in a package so I made three holders. This is the outside.
This is a side view of one of the holders.

This is the sentiment I added to the inside of all three.

These are the challenges I am submitting these projects in:

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the weekend!

Feeling Baaaad?

As soon as I saw this goat I knew he was going to be an image I had to have. This adorably funny little guy is a new digital stamp from Clear Dollar Stamps. The set is called "Goat". I just love the sentiment on the front. I couldn't resist putting another funny sentiment on the inside of the card. With this set you will receive the goat image. You will also receive a birthday hat and a birthday horn and a dollar bill. You will also receive several different sentiments. You will love what you can do with this set.
The layout for this card is from Midnight Madness Challenge. At Cooking it up with Katie they wanted us to use a current sketch from any challenge, make it for a child, then add some buttons.

At the For Fun Challenge they wanted a get well project. Finally, over at Truely Scrumptious they have an anything goes challenge right now. I hope my card made you smile today. Have a great day and truely enjoy it!

Blop Hop with Clear Dollar Stamps

It's the third Sunday of the Month which means - Blog Hop time at Clear Dollar Stamps! Yeah, this month we are celebrating the boys in our lives. The title of this hop is "Let's Hear it for the Boys". Remember that old song - back from the 80's. Now that you have that song running through your head and your thinking about Kevin Bacon dancing I'll chat with you about my card. I took advantage of this hop to make a Father's Day card. I use the new set called "Father's Day". I remember when I was a kid we had a grill just like this one. If you have come from Laurie's Blog than you are on the right track for the hop. If you just stopped by here you will want to start over at the Clear Dollar Stamp blog to see what all the girls have created for you.
Make sure you leave a comment on all the girls' blogs so you qualify for one of two $10.00 gift certificates for stamps. Now to move on the hop you will need to hop on over to Jan's blog. Have a great day and enjoy all the "boy" cards. =) These are the challenges I am entering this fun card into:
Stamp, Scrap, and Doodle - Old Stash (saving this paper for the perfect project and I found it)
Card Makin' Mama's - 1 Image, 2 papers, 3 different embellishments (buttons, die cuts, and beads)
Paper Play Challenge - Celebrate Summer

Reel 'Em In

Hi All! I feel like I have been missing forever. I've been in kinda a "funk" lately. Not sure why but this card brought me out of it. Yeah!! Do you have any fishermen or fisherwomen in your family? If so, this set is just for you. The set is called "Reel 'Em In" and it is new from Doodle Pantry. The layout for this card came from Try Stampin' On Tuesday challenge. I think what helped with the "funk" is the memories. At Card Makin' Mamas they wanted us to make a card for a loved one. At Cards For Men they wanted us to make something for someone special. At Sweet Stampin' they wanted a childhood memory. My grandfather would take us fishin' when I was a child. I remember sitting on the dock for what seemed like hours, even though he said it was only minutes. =) So this Father's Day card is going to "Grandpa"!
These are the other challenges I am entering this card into:
Stamp Something - Digi Stamp
Secret Crafter - Use something old from our stash. My paper has been around a long time.
Crazy Challenge - Anything Goes
Try It On Tuesday - Boys
Hand Stamped Sentiments - Anything Goes
My Time To Craft - Scallops

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!!

Another Mother's Day card

I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and that huge turquoise space is driving me crazy! Lol. At Sweet Stampin' Challenge they wanted us to try something new. I found directions for this paper punched flower and thought it looked fun so I tried it. If you are interested, the instructions are here. The Mother's Day sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps. It is part of a clear stamp set called Sentimental Flowers. The layout for this card came from Sweet Stop Challenge.
At Let's Ink It Up they wanted to see embellishments this week. These challenges wanted to see something for Mother's Day: 2 Sisters, Stamp, Scrap and Doodle, Card Cupids, and the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge.
