Surf's Up Dude!!

It's monday morning which means a new challenge over at the Happy Monday Challenge with Deedee's Digis! Yeah. This week we would love to see you make a card for a kid. I choose to make a card for a teenager. Those seem more hard for me so that is why I choose it. The image I am using is from a set called "Surf's Up!". The inside of the card says, "it's your day - enjoy it!" The layout for this card came from Crazy 4 Challenges. At Charisma Cardz they wanted to see a teen birthday card. At Birthday Sundaes they wanted to see a spring birthday card. At both Stampin B's and Sisterhood of Crafters they both wanted to see projects for males. Thanks so much for stopping and I really hope you join us for the Happy Monday Challenge. I can't wait to see what you make!

Snowmen?

Yep you are seeing right. That is the kind of mood I was in today. For my Christmas in March card I use the new stamp of the month set from Clear Dollar Stamps. The set is called Yearly Occassions. It is free this month with a purchase of $50. or more. Then you can fancy any kind of mood you are in. I combined it with the set called Holiday Patterns. Roses Notebook

I made this notepad for my Mom. She is a list maker. I have followed in her footsteps there. After Christmas our Michaels store had tons of these pads, yes they are decorated with Christmas and winter items but I cover that up. I purchased several, ok lots, of these at 90% off. Gotta love that. My Mom loves it, she gets much needed notepads and I get to make them and watch her face light up. The roses and sentiment on the book are from a set called Roses to Die for from Clear Dollar Stamps. It is a new set for the month of March. I also used the dies called Blooming Bouquet Die Set. They match perfectly with the roses. The sketch on the front of the pad is from Card Positioning Systems.
At Creative Inspirations they are having a "no square card" challenge. At For Fun Challenge they wanted to see flowers and a sentiment. At both Tuesday Throwdown and Secret Crafter wanted to see a project not a card this week. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope your creations make someone smile today! =)

You Can Bug Me Anytime!

I just love Ladybugs. I wonder are they all over the world? Around here they are a sign of spring and summer. =) We all love those kinds of signs. This cute (legless) ladybug is from a set called Ladybug Hugs from Clear Dollar Stamps. I wanted this one to look like he just flew in and landed on the flower so I cut his legs off. Sounds kinda scary huh. He really didn't mind too much. The layout for this card came from Twisted Sketches they also wanted to see buttons on our project. At Totally Gorjuss the challenge this week was buttons.
At Both Crafty Calendar and Card Cupids they both wanted to see something about spring. Finally, at Let's Ink It Up they wanted to see a diecut or punch. My scallops down the side were made with the QuicKutz scallops die. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope things are looking springy around your place.

New Digis from Doodle Pantry!

Are you ready for some new beautiful digital stamps? I'm sure you are and today is your lucky day! Over at Doodle Pantry Laurie has released four new stamp sets. They are all so different that you will want them all! I used the stamp set called "He is Risen". This is such a beautiful set. There are two images of the tomb and six different sentiments to use with the image. The sentiment I used is one that I split up.
The picture that I had of this card in my mind was showing the tomb on the inside of the card and by opening the card you were looking into the tomb. I wanted the first words to give the impression they were coming from inside the tomb. I can't even image what that would have been like to be there. It gives me shivers just to try to think of seeing God's son dying on the cross and raising from the dead. Wow!
Hop on over to see all the other stamp sets Laurie is releasing today at Doodle Pantry. You will "need" them all! =) have a wonderful day!

It's a Sketch at the Happy Monday Challenge

What a fun sketch! My tag on top slides out to reveal the Jelly Bean Prayer. This is a brand new stamp set from Deedee's Digis. I can hear the birds singing right now - a beautiful sign of spring. Easter seems a little late this year but that will be good for planting our potatoes. Sping is on it's way! Yeah!!
Now remember that Deedee is offering a free stamp if you play with us and you use one of her stamps. It really is a cutie this week. Although I always just fall in love with her stamps. They are always so happy. So make sure you hop on over and join the fun for the Happy Monday Challenge with Deedee's Digis. I can't wait to see what great ideas you all come up with! Have a happy day!!

"It's a Zoo!" That is our theme this month at the Clear Dollar Stamps blog hop. Someday don't you feel like that?!? If you came from Barb's blog than you are in the right spot. If you just stopped here than you will want to start over at the beginning of the hop at the Clearly iStamp blog. You won't want to miss out on any of the fun projects.
The lion came from a stamp set called Zoo Critters. I put two different sentiments together to come up with my sentiment on the tag. I just had to incorporate the word "roaring" with this little guy. Now remember to leave me a comment because we don't know who's blog Lori will choose to receive a prize. Your next stop on the hop is Shell's blog. Have a super good day and have fun on the hop!! =)

Happy Monday Challenge for Deedee's Digis

Happy Monday everyone! Hope your weekend went well. Today we have a fun challenge for you over at the Happy Monday Challenge. This week we want you to not only decorate the outside of your card we also want to see the inside decorated. We have Glitterbabe's Digi's sponsoring our challenge this week. So we had a chance to play with her images. This is the one I choose, it is called Too Cute Chick. This could be used for a boy or a girl. A while back I saw a tutorial how to make this gift card holder inside the card. So I thought this was the perfect chance to give this a try. I didn't have a baby gift card so I had to make one.

I followed the tutorial from Dawn's Stamping Studio. I did however cut a slat for the gift card to slide all the way down into the card.
This is such a fun card. I love how the gift card will pop up when the card is opened. I am also submitting this card into the 2 Sisters Challenge. This week they are having an Oh Baby challenge. I really hope you join us for the challenge at the Happy Monday challenge. I would love to see how you all decorate the inside of your cards. Thanks for stopping and have a great monday!

Hi all! Yellow isn't usually a color I do too often so when I saw the challenge at Papertake Weekly challenge was lemon zingy I knew I had to try. The beautiful cross stamp set and die are brand new items from Clear Dollar Stamps this month. The die set is called Cross Dies. Never Ending Card

Have you seen one of these cards? The other day was the first for me and I was so shocked!! I saw a video from Dawn's Stamping Studio. I needed a Get Well card for a 15 year old teenage boy who was struck by a car this week. I feel so badly for the family and him that I just wanted to do something. When I saw over at Order of the Opus Gluei challenge this week they wanted us to try something new. Well, that started this project. This is the front of the card.
Fold open to reveal the first inside.
The next time you will fold up and down the reveal another inside. It didn't want to stay open for a picture.
Finally, the last one is to reveal the back. That is where I will be writing my note to this boy and family.
15 years old is a hard age. I choose this stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps. The set is called Rock On. The sentiments are from a set called Get Well Critters. Most teenagers love music so I thought maybe he would like this. At Stampin' B's they are looking to see music things for their challenge. This boy is in for a long hard recovery so I wanted to send him something to let him know people are praying for him. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to you have a great day!

At Crafty Pad Challenge they wanted us to use a ribbon. At Stampin' for the Weekend they wanted to see a spring project. At Corrosive Challenge and Card Makin' Mamas they both wanted to see a project mainly with green. Thanks so much for stopping and have a great day!
